Evgenia Anikina has a special interest in medical education. She lectures regularly to ophthalmologists as well as other medical professionals on a wide breadth of ophthalmology topics.

She is an acting Training Programme Director to ophthalmology trainees in the Thames Valley region.

She is a member of the Clinical Skills Faculty at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, teaching at the microsurgical skills and phacoemulsification courses. She is also a examiner for the RCOphth postgraduate specialty examinations and a member of the examinations committee.

She has been involved in the organisation of multiple ophthalmic courses and events, including at the Royal Society of Medicine, teaching at specialist retinal surgical courses for the British and Eire Association of Vitreoretinal Surgeons, as well as independently-organised courses.

She is a Great British representative on the Medical Committee of the Federation Internationale de Savate (FISav) and an Ophthalmology Member of the Medical Advisory Group for Motorsport UK, promoting good ophthalmic practice in sport.
