Evgenia Anikina has a special interest in medical education. She lectures regularly to ophthalmologists as well as other medical professionals on a wide breadth of ophthalmology topics.

She is an acting Educational Supervisor to ophthalmology trainees in the Thames Valley region.

She is a member of the Clinical Skills Faculty at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, teaching at the microsurgical skills and phacoemulsification courses. She is also a examiner for the RCOphth postgraduate specialty examinations.

She has been involved in the organisation of multiple ophthalmic courses and events, including regular participation in the Royal Society of Medicine annual Student and Trainee Prize Meeting.

She is a Great British representative on the Medical Committee of the Federation Internationale de Savate (FISav) and an Ophthalmology Member of the Medical Advisory Group for Motorsport UK, promoting good ophthalmic practice in sport.
